OUR Farm Gate

At the entrance to the farm you’ll find our restored vintage wagon, now home to our little farm gate stand filled with freshly cut seasonal flowers and other farm goodies such as a selection of seedlings, seed packets,  dahlia cuttings and honey.

Each week The Petal Patch wagon is restocked with flowers cut straight from the patch.

The farm gate is open most Saturdays during Summer and Autumn.  If you would like a bouquet outside this time, send me an email and I will try to accommodate you.   Please note that farm gate hours are subject to change due to weather conditions. We recommend checking our social media for the latest updates.

Our farm gate operates on a simple system built on trust and community. The flowers at The Petal Patch are grown with great care and hard work, and we kindly ask visitors to respect the space by paying honestly. Every purchase helps support our tiny flower farm and allows us to keep sharing seasonal blooms with the local community.

For more information, feel free to get in touch with Anna at The Petal Patch.

Common Questions

Is there parking available on site?

As this is a working farm on a quiet country road, we kindly ask visitors to park carefully on the side of the road or on the nature strip and be mindful of passing traffic when arriving and leaving.

What payment methods do you accept?

The Petal Patch farm gate operates with a simple country-style honour system. Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer using the details provided at the stand. We trust in the kindness and honesty of our community, and ask that all visitors respect the space, the flowers and the work that goes into growing them. Unfortunately, theft from small farm gates has become increasingly common, and every bunch taken without payment directly impacts our small family farm. Your honesty helps keep the farm gate open for everyone to enjoy..

What happens in case of bad weather?

We operate rain or shine, but in extreme weather, we may close. We will contact you or update our socials if cancellations occur.

Can I visit the Petal Patch garden?

Unfortunately The Petal Patch garden is not open to the public as it is a working farm and also our home.

Do I need to pre-order flowers?

There will always be fresh cut flowers available from the stand, however should you desire a specific colour or bunch of flowers, pre-ordering online by way of email will secure your unique bouquet.

Can I take photographs?

Yes you are welcome to take photographs. of The Petal Patch Wagon.
